The candidate should be Certified in Early Childhood Education with at least one year’s experience working in an Early Childhood setting. Other degrees may be considered.
The candidate should be an active member of a Christian congregation and be supportive of the mission and ministry of Saint Paul Lutheran Church.
The candidate should be supportive of the use of the Classical Christian Education model.
The candidate should be willing and able to work 10 hours a week from January through June in order to prepare curriculum, classrooms, and supplies. During that time the Interim Director will also advertise/promote the program within the congregation and to the community at large with an emphasis on the unique opportunity we are offering families here at Saint Paul.
The interim director will also work in conjunction with the mutual ministry and ChristianEducation Committees of Saint Paul Lutheran Church to build a staff.
The interim director will investigate the possibility of a grant to underwrite expenses if possible.
The interim director will hold at least 2 Open Houses during this time frame.
The Salary will be $14 per hour.
The Interim Director will report to the Pastor’s at least twice a month during this interimperiod to give updates on progress and any problems that have developed along the way.
The Interim Director will have a budget of $250 for classroom purchases.
