Dear Brothers and Sister in Christ,
Grace, mercy and peace from God our Father and our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! After listening to the latest update from Governor Wolf we have decided to continue the suspension of all activities at Saint Paul Lutheran Church for the next two weeks. As it looks now, the first possible time that we might be able to worship together again in person will be Maundy Thursday April 9th. We will continue to remain in contact via the church web site and email.
We are also hoping to get the church council together via the internet using Zoom (as soon as we learn how to do that) sometime soon.
In the meantime, continue to pray especially for the sick and those who have to work during this crisis, including nurses and doctors and food providers. We also remember families who are dealing with the loss of income, the loss of childcare and the stress of the unknown. Of course, as Christians we have one certainty during a time like this – God loves us. He sent Jesus. The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases, his mercies never come to an end, they are new every morning, great is your faithfulness. (Lamentations 3:22)
God be with you! Again, please call or e-mail us if you have any need. And reach out to our shut-ins and older members when you can.
In Christian love,
Pastors Paul and Sally
