Reverend Paul Gausmann

Reverend Paul Gausmann

Pastor

Pastor Paul’s passion for Jesus and the advance of the Gospel message is seen in his relaxed style and sense of humor. Be prepared to be greeted warmly and cared about deeply by him as you participate in the fellowship of Saint Paul Lutheran Church. Pastor Paul was born in London, England, and raised both there and in Washington D.C. His degrees are from Gettysburg College, the University of Northern Iowa and the Lutheran Theological Seminary at Gettysburg. He has been in parish ministry for over thirty years, serving in Western Pennsylvania and Iowa before coming to York 17 years ago. He and Pastor Sally have two adult children who with their spouses have blessed them with three beautiful granddaughters.

One of Pastor Paul’s favorite verses is from the Gospel of Luke 18:26 “…what is impossible for mortals is possible for God.”
